Despite evolving perceptions, Sheffield’s Brutalist buildings have always

struggled with an image problem.

For far too long, Brutalist architecture in the steel city has been underexposed and the Brutalist Architecture Sheffield campaign aims to change that.

With its resurgence and growing appreciation around the world, Brutalism is something that deserves to be celebrated.

Sheffield is home to some of the most fascinating Brutalist architecture examples, including the Park Hill estate - concrete icon and the largest listed building in Europe, offering residents the most breathtaking views of the city.

Join us in this journey and explore this aesthetic yet brave architectural style and see it from a completely different perspective. We will showcase you the nine landmarks, leaving the remaining ones for your discovery.
